This policy explains what information Central Web Design collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Central Web Design LLC ("Central Web Design", "we", "us") operates this website. You can reach us at hello@central-web-design.com or (225) 772-9025 with any questions about this policy or your information.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to keep the site running:
- Information you submit through our contact form: your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your company name, project type, budget range, and the details of your message.
- Standard server logs kept by Amazon Web Services (AWS), our hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
- If analytics are enabled, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) collected through Google Analytics. This does not identify you personally to us.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Reply to your enquiry and provide a consultation or quote.
- Communicate with you about a project you have asked us to work on.
- Maintain the security and performance of the website.
- Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers described below.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the site. They only process your information on our behalf and for the purposes described here:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS), which hosts the site, keeps server logs, and receives and delivers contact-form submissions.
- Google Analytics (only if analytics are enabled), which provides aggregated traffic statistics.
- Our email provider, which we use to correspond with you.
Cookies
The site itself does not use tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure repeat visits in aggregate. You can block or delete these through your browser settings without affecting how the site works.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records, then delete them. Server logs are rotated on our provider’s standard schedule. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@central-web-design.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
